Visit the Amsterdam Icebar

The Amsterdam Icebar is the coolest bar in the city. The bar consists of two different parts: a ‘warm’ area in which you can have a cocktail or a large beer, and a cold area, the Icebar itself. In the Icebar, you’ll experience a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius. Luckily, before you enter you’ll get a thermal coat and gloves to make sure you’re protected against the cold. We’ll also give you three free tokens which you can exchange for drinks while inside the Icebar.

Everything in the Amsterdam Icebar, from the furniture to the walls and the art, is made entirely out of ice. The experience includes a reliving of the famous adventure of Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz, who was stranded in the Arctic on an island called Nova Zembla for nearly a year. You can order beer, shots, and orange juice, all of which are served in glasses made out of ice!
