Explore the Arctic at the Amsterdam Icebar
The Icebar has two bars, the ‘regular’ bar and the ice bar. As you enter, you step into the regular bar, where you can enjoy your first free drink of the night, in exchange for a golden token which you get when you enter the bar. When you’ve enjoyed your drink, you’ll be introduced to Willem Barentsz, captain of the Mercury and arctic explorer. Join him on board to make your way into the ice bar, where the ship has gotten stranded in the ice.
Before you step inside the ice bar, you’ll be handed warm clothing such as a coat and gloves to survive the -10°C interior. In the ice bar, you are surrounded by ice, from the walls to the ice sculptures and the glasses served at the bar. In this frozen world you can exchange your two silver tokens for two more drinks.
Hit the dance floor at Club Escape
After visiting the bar, head down the street to Club Escape, one of the largest and most popular dance clubs in Amsterdam. The nightclub is popular with locals and people from all over the world. Club Escape has been a household name in the Amsterdam nightlife scene since 1986.
