The Heineken Experience is one of Amsterdam’s most famous and authentic attractions. Learn about the history of Heineken beer and taste a beer yourself. The Heineken Experience includes an interactive self-guided walk through the factory, a Heineken tasting session, fun information about the company’s history and the Heineken logo and much more.
The Heineken Brewery Tour takes you through the company’s history in a fun and interactive way. Walk past the gigantic copper tanks that were used to brew the original Heineken beer, see the old advertisements used to promote the beer and draft your own beer in the Heineken Museum bar.
At the Heineken Experience, you’ll learn how the Dutch drink beer, witness the Heineken brewing process first-hand and savour the nutty flavour of barley. The Heineken Brewery Tour is a fun experience for everybody.
The coolest bar in town: the Icebar!
The Amsterdam Icebar is the coolest bar in the city. Everything in the Icebar is made out of ice, from the furniture to the walls and the art. First, you will step into a warm bar. Here you’ll get a welcome cocktail or a large Heineken. After you’ve finished your drink, you will be taken to the second bar, the actual Icebar. In the Icebar, you’ll experience a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius. Inside the Amsterdam Icebar, you will get 2 free drinks. Choose from a beer, a shot or orange juice.
The experience includes a reliving of the famous adventure of Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz. He will take you back to 1596 when his ship stranded on the ice at Nova Zembla. Are you brave enough to survive the cold?
